In order to understand what is an annoying noise children, through the guidance of their teacher could make a play. In this play kids will ape their classmates or other sound that they remember. After every scene, the class can vote if their classmate sounds good or if they hate his imitation. So children will understand where are their limits and how they can become annoying!

In this activity, students will also learn that "silence is gold", because when they will making their play and they will want their classmates to stay silent. And also children will learn how democracy works, as they will find it fair and they will respect the fact that they should stay silent when their classmates starring, so they will like to have the same confrontation.

Some result by this first part of the activity is that children will become more sensitive about the quiet hours, because they now should know the feeling of an irritating noise.

In addition, we can make students think of professions that related with noise. Such as construction sites, mines. And also places with a lot of noise, like a highway, or next to a train. In contrary, they should now think of the countryside and all of the sound that exists out there and make a comparison. So finally, children can understand how important is their hearing and that they must take care of it and also not to make others being annoyed by their noise.

Foremost, we can now watch, below, to movie clips of the movie called "The Chorus" ("Hamsarayan"), by the Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami. In this movie, a hard of hearing elderly has come out for shopping, to the bustling souk of his town. It seemed then that the town is moving too fast around him but he persists to his slow pace. While the noise becomes too loud for him he closes his hearing aid, so he can sink in his valuable silence and isolate from everyone. He is also doing the some thing, when he is coming home and the irritating noise of a pneumatic drill, invade in his place. He can now enjoy his cup of tea in tranquility, but he can't listen the sound of his bell that his granddaughter is ringing. Although, his granddaughter can't stop until she sees her grandfather, so she enlists the help voices of her classmates. Then, that chorus of children, calling the grandfather, crushes the noise of the drill and also the silence of the grandfather, who finally listen to them, is stopping his isolation and is becoming real happy..!!
